If you had to spend three months this Summer in either of these three locations, which would you choose?

To narrow it down a little more I think I'm settled on Bangkok or Phuket and Mexico City for their respective countries. Any tips for a first time traveler would be much appreciated as well.

Wouldn't Thailand be excruciating in the Summer? I also went to Mexico City last year for the first time and one thing of note is that it has very high elevation. If you aren't used to it, you can feel sick a lot of the time like me.

How quaint.

I chose Canada because of the time of year. Winter I'd go to Thailand.

Well, mexico city has it's ups and downs but definitely be cautious of your surroundings. Food is amazing but go with your gut when choosing a spot/dish or you could end up with something you might not be able to handle. Tepache is delicious and I highly recommend it, it's a fermented pineapple drink that goes well with tacos.

Definitely plan what places you want to see ahead of time because traffic is a nightmare and you won't want to find yourself crossing the city multiple times a day. See if there's any shows, public cultural displays or gallerias to spice up your visit.

Montreal easily. Prettiest ladies too

Respectfully, you need to do your research. I would never go to Mexico/Thailand during Summer just because of the heat. Hell, I live in Canada and I went to Tampa during fall and it was just barely bearable for me. I can only imagine how bad it would be during summer.

I'd personally go to Montreal so I could go to to the Canadian Grand Prix. But also because of the weather.

Respectfully, I've done a bunch of research beforehand. I'm simply bringing my thoughts to CE to see what y'all have got to say. I've been to Miami in August. The heat isn't so much of an issue for me but I get it. Global warming is a thing. I'm not a fan of the cold either though. Just saying.

My only gripe with Canada is it might be the most expensive of the three.

Looks like CE is leaning towards Montreal, Canada. Personally, Thailand might be more realistic.

Thailand for me.

Montreal is only a 6 hour bus ride for me and I've already been there a handful of times. I've been to Mexico once for a night and would like to spend more time there, but I've never been anywhere overseas before, so I'm going with Thailand.
