For me atleast. Previously, it was Dangerous. But Off the Wall, just makes you really happy, cheers you up, and you just wanna dance. Rock with You, Off the Wall, Girlfriend, I Can't Help It, etc. Dangerous was the beginning of MJ's experimental phase, and one could say this was the beginning of the decline for him. And it did give off a bittersweet feeling from it. HIStory takes it further, and that's probably my least favorite album of his. Blood on the Dance Floor, was just meh going past the title song, which was actually a song made for Dangerous. Invincible was ok to good.

Thriller > Off the Wall
A lot of the best Thriller songs have OTW chill/disco vibes, though, like "Lady in My Life" and "Baby Be Mine." --- Take me down from the ridge where the summer ends And watch the city spread out just like a jet's flame ... Copied to Clipboard!
