It details how rural whites are the most dangerous demographic to America, as they believe in conspiracy theories at a higher rate, support political violence, and believe the President has ultimate power, assuming they're Republican, among other things, and why they're the most dangerous threat to American Democracy. These are the people that proudly proclaim they'd rather be Russian than Democrat or that if America turns into a dictatorship they'd proudly serve under Trump.

As someone who has lived in an area almost 100% white her entire life and is very rural... I can agree with this. It squares out, and my dad in particular is a proud racist, conspiracy theoriest, general MAGA Trump slurper, etc., and so are many other family members.

The ones that were forced out of the industry and bailouts Trump gave exclusively to white farmers after his tariffs caused a huge problem for the entire American farming industry?

I dont think specifically rural whites are the most dangerous based on that list tbh

i feel like those are just popular beliefs with republicans in general at this point. Theyre all dangerous.

Totally tangential, but my sister gave me shit for reading a book called Angry White Pyjamas. She thought I had gone full Rogan Podcastee or something, but it was just a biographical book about a guy doing the aikido circuit in Japan.

Ohh there seems to be a few other books on this topic. One from 2007. Another from 2016. Prob some earlier too idk
Oh there is one from 1996 sorta. It has white supremacist and doomsday prophecies in the title (oh yeah this is right on topic after reading the summary).

I was wondering why this was trending on twitter the other day. Right wingers were going on typically lying and saying they aren't a bunch of fascist religious fundamentalists. Can't really argue against it. Besides the rich who benefit from it, they're the ones the most for turning America into a fascist religious capitalist hellhole. Still, their beliefs are pretty much the standard in conservative circles at this point. The less rural white conservatives are for it all too.
