Not from the vids, or articles you saw, or read online, but from personal experience? Were you at fault, such as drawing suspicion, not complying to orders, etc, or complete unfair harassment due to your skin color, or being at the wrong place, at the wrong time?

Nah, they're cool with me. I've been pulled over like 5 or 6 times for speeding or rolling stops and I just flash my badge and they're like "ahhhhh....nvm you're cool, dawg!" and let me go >_>

back when i got taco bell nightly i got pulled over like once a week. a lot of they time they made shit up about my speed or failure to indicate. part of why i got a dashcam

I was a passenger in a car accident, and the officer threatened to 'give me another dig in the mouth' if I didn't cooperate, and that 'no one would be able to tell' because my face was already busted from the crash.

yeah, I was a delivery driver at the time and got pulled over for going 5 above the speed limit.
made the mistake of pulling over into a school parking lot, since it was the first safe place to pull over, but since it's a school zone all fines are doubled, and the cop was basically looking for more stuff to write me up for.
it was a k9 unit, and he was pulling the whole "I smell drugs" thing (I didn't smoke weed or anything at the time), and then kept saying the dog was alerting to something.

basically took around 45 minutes before he said "I'll let you off easy this time" and then I got in trouble at work because the delivery was late and also cold.

I hate them I wont talk to them. They keep threatening to impound my car just because I sleep in it.

I work along side them pretty frequently (paramedic). For the most part, the interactions are good. Every once in a while you run into one on a power trip, or gets a kick out of being a dick, or thinks that their job is more important than mine (wants us to stick around so they can issue a ticket instead of us taking someone injured to the hospital).

Like every other profession, there are good ones and bad ones. The problem with policing is the protection of the bad ones.

Only a couple. I've known dozens of cops who were for the most part good guys and gals. But I'll never know the amount of corrupt things they've turned a blind eye on.

There was a complicated situation when I was a kid where a cop stopped my mom because she hadn't paid a ticket yet, but we couldn't leave the car alone because it wouldn't lock or something. So it was just me and my sis babysitting a car in the cold while my mom took forever to pay a ticket by walking to the police station. The officer wouldn't let us just go home first, or give us a ride, or anything. I remember her face, even though I have trouble remembering faces.
