They also don't have people in their own government who are bought and paid for by companies that would like renewable energy to not get a larger foothold because it would harm their businesses.

China also emits nearly double the amount of air pollution then the next largest air polluter (the US).

I mean china will obviously pollute more because they have a higher population of civilized society than anywhere else on the planet. But going solar will definitely put a dent in that.
