Kirby has been paired with both Dumey and Ulti and various points today. If either combination was both scum wouldn't they just stay together for safety? We haven't seen Ulti + Dumey pair up (yet), but with exactly 2 scum remaining I have a hard time imagining a scum/scum date breaking up today.

I guess that caveat is that if the scum/scum pairing was developed in such a scummy way they feel like they would be guaranteed to take a loss day 3. But any pairing of scum/scum that didn't raise any major eyebrows would simply have to last, right?

I think a Sultan/Corrik/Isquen final 3 unpaired would be ideal but I doubt Chris is going to break up with Sultan

Ulti would you consider dating me past the deadline, but issuing a breakup command so that if we get claims late in the day, I can potentially dump you to save the claim?

I had to double check the wording on Chang's rule update from day 1.

For some reason I thought it said that people had to be dating for at least an hour to break up, but it says that a date must be active for an hour for the breakup to deactivate players' pending date requests.

So Dumey and Ulti *are* broken up, but all of the other requests they had issued are still active by virtue of the "shorter than 1 hour rule".

No objections from me. Chris is white knighting Sultan and doesn't want to play the game, so I don't think I care anymore how this day ends.

No one seriously talked about JC Lea Dumey or Kirby as scum overnight except me and Lea. Isn't that a bit weird. Wouldn't scum have been out to reap the rewards of Peaf's gambit?

I'm saying scum would want to push the suspicion. We had 2 scum in night chats and none of them did it.

Yeah. If you trust me, I will try to confer with you before breaking up whether we like the claim or not. But obviously depending on the timing of things I could make an executive decision to dump you if things go poorly.

My advice to town in a position they need to claim is to not save it to the very last second.

JC, I think Lea deserves to be in the pool of suspects. Up to you, but you should consider breaking up in the next 5 minutes before consent rules kick in, then can redate if you still think Lea is worth saving.

I do not want to lock into a toxic relationship. Sultan I have difficulty reading and I imagine the conversation would be equally as dull as last night, Red I would probably say more to but I do not trust the mass invites. Kirby has just looked straight awful every time he talked, but since it's Kirby, it's NAI. Ulti is being gregarious as usual but I did feel strong pocketing vibes. And it's unfortunate player meta, but I will NEVER trust Chris until proven innocent by multiple sources.

Conspiracy brain is going Red/Corrik is a scum scum pairing and Corrik's just waiting for the lock-in, and I'm trying to smack that one down, but it keeps eating the back of my mind.

Dumey Peaf is the one situation where I could see Kirby being town btw

It's literally the only way Peaf's gambit makes sense if Kirby is town

Ergo if you're town Kirby Peaf should be your number one suspect

I mean technically if there was a pairing that we REALLY didn't like and everyone agreed we could kill both on day 3. But someone else would have to go down with the ship.

But that would definitely be an awful idea and not worth the risk, lol
