my therapist warned me about this part. i feel incredibly empty and depressed. i was on such an uptick before this too. its like speedrunning to a pit, its crazy

I did it once.

Ended up having that feeling like you get when a plane is landing, it was very disorienting.

Not sure how efficacious it was for me but I only did one session, the intervention itself has overall positive outcomes.

What is that? I find the different modalities of therapy pretty interesting.

i honestly have no idea how it works. she asked me thru a bunch of particularly traumatic things throughout the sesh

i had to recount it. it wasnt quite rapidfire but i had to go into detail and my therapist was clearly keeping me on track. it was really rough

and it may not actively be on my mind rn, but ever since that session ive been kinda taken back to where i was mentally back then. its really hard

yeah, i don't care to talk about my trauma with a therapist. i'd rather focus on what's actively going on in my life.

i feel like i've dealt with my trauma well as is. i have ptsd, but nightmares and flashbacks are getting less and less.

i deal with dissociation, and i feel like i'd just dissociate during EMDR.

I honestly don't know how it affected you this much, >.< . For me, it was one of the biggest nothingburgers in my life.
