He's in a sports program. There's a decent chance that his grades have been inflated since high school to maintain eligibility requirements for him to play. In my high school half the team wouldn't have been able to take the field if they were actually held to the same grading standards as everybody else.

He probably cant even read.

Yep. It's no coincidence certain people would always end up with the teachers that were also coaches. Unless we were just blatant about it at my highschool. lol

My mom said it was a problem at her school. She said the teacher/coach barely even teached him and the jocks just talked sports all class

American high schools, by and large, are so horrifically underfunded (public because the rich refuse to pay taxes; charter and private because the owners are enriching themselves with either tuition money or government cash while leaving the school itself with bupkis and/or forcing the school to teach nonsensical propaganda) that they're basically just daycare for teens with football teams attached.

Throw in chronic traumatic encephalopathy from tackle football and all those decades of leaded gasoline, and it's really a no-brainer why we've got so goddamned many dumb-as-hell, far-right motherfuckers running around ruining everything.

I went to one school that was decently funded. Our rival school invited us over to watch a play or some shit and it was a shit hole. But let me tell you this their football team had new uniforms every 2 years. They looked pretty sharp on the field. Only middle school team with logos on their helmet too. Meanwhile our team was rocking 25 year old uniforms. Goes to show you where their funding went to. My school actually gave a fuck about our education and having a well kept clean learning environment

Also to say it's amazing how much shit changes from state to state. There we took our finals in a computer and got our results in 15 minutes. Another state I lived in you did it on paper it got mailed to the capital and it took 2 weeks. Literally just one state over. Also I felt like a genius compared to my classmates after moving there.
