See a bunch of the remakes of the toyota supra. I've seen a few new ones around but online I also see a lot of used ones for sale so that means people are buying them and trading them in quick. tbh if I was going to spend that much on a Toyota I'd just buy a 80-100k Lexus instead. Many think for the amount of money you pay there is no greater car. many major car reviewers...So seinfeld really dislikes them, never heard I think corvettes are great cars that have an unfortunate "old man" or "midlife crisis" stigma. In reality, the prices of gently used C5s are in the 10-20K range and young people haven't caught on to how awesome they are. Supposedly like the lingenfelter's and hennessy's are bad ideas where they add like 300 hp to your mustang cause it has not warranty. Add that + finding Nissan dealerships not too good with handling the car + my general agenda to modify a car = that's what happened. My biggest obstacle is California and it's laws. Was pretty fixated on the 370Z because I've always wanted it since debut. I'm coming from a childhood of playing Gran Turismo. Between GT4 and GT5 I had an inclination to using the 350Z and then 370Z when it entered the series. I wouldn't want to just say "I prefer Japanese cars" (although from a reliability standpoint, I do) but more like having something that played true to the original selection the Gran Turismo series provided a lot of non-supercar, mostly Japanese models to shop in the new and used selection. Sure enough the Mustang entered the GT series since the 2nd installment, but the idea of how realistic it could be to own a car that existed in a videogame, started with the original game. Kind of irritates me because the new "Supra" is a BMW underneath and is not a Toyota product.
