Associating hamas with the health ministry in this particular context pnly serves to deligitimze an organization that has been documented accurate and impartial by multiple human rights agencies and even in IDF intelligence briefings.

Regardless of if you believe any hamas claptrap bullshit, you should feel safe and confident in referring to the health ministry's numbers right up to the point where Israel has destroyed enough hospitals and IT infrastructure to make accurate record keeping impossible.

It has been proven time after time that the Gazan Health Ministry numbers are legit.
Even IDF uses those numbers, because they dont waste time counting how many they kill.

Now the IDF is saying oh people just got run trampled. When as posted here already their own people said point blank they were shooting at the people. And the US would sign off on it knowing that they lied. Just like when they killed that American Reporter.

I wasn't really speaking to my confidence in the organization, but my point was that conflating the two is what some people think, which is why they don't believe their statements.
