Using Ublock, looks like they did something again to fuck us huh?

I was stuck at like 144p and buffering, loaded videos in incognito mode and they were 1080p and no issues.

It was fucked pretty much all day yesterday.

I always watch the panty hauls at 25% speed so idk

It won't let me play at anything over 360p unless I log out of my account and then suddenly it plays at 4k with absolutely no problems.

Oh, that is just the internet straining over what amounts to the data version of logistics being stretched to their limit over poor infrastructure with few and infrequent maintenance and upgrade programs.

It's buffering every few seconds for me. Tested my connection and my DL/UL speed is still fast, so it's just the site.

It's normal when I'm not signed in, they must be throttling accounts.

They're throttling speeds if you have an ad blocker installed, which is a real pain in the ass.

Mods here don't like it when you post unrelated videos to get around this BS. I got warned for disruptive posting for it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they've marked accounts as having used adblockers in the past and then go off that.

Not slow, but I have this weird thing where a video shot in vertical form but played in the horizontal format will get weirdly clipped.

It's been working fine for me. I hear UBlock Origin's usefulness was affected by other adblockers, so I just uninstalled the others and haven't had any YT problems for ages.

Lol you have to admit it is crazy and a little scary Google's ongoing war with internet users and adblock. They're gonna go nuclear soon, how I dunno but with how bad the internet has gotten and all these new laws being passed, its going to suck

yeah, and I've been having a weird glitch where, as soon as the home page loads, it immediately goes to the first video in the suggestions regardless of whether I click on anything.

Yeah I feel its gonna come. But tbh they can never do anything that'll stick. People have always pirated, modded, used adblocks, broken through DRM, hacked firmware ect. They're always gonna find a new thing to bypass.

Feels like it'll just go back and forth for a while until the big companies give up lol. Theres never a shortage of people who can break through, and they're not being paid either.

oh, a fix I found that works so far is to search for vids in duckduckgo, then watch them within the videos results tab rather than going to youtube.
some vids don't work if they're not allowed on external sites, but overall I haven't had any issues with slowdowns or weird behavior.

Unfortunately, embeds don't work for age-restricted videos.

I was having this issue even though I have YouTube Premium. Not logged in was fine, logged in was ABYSMAL.

If it's still messed up for you, try clearing your cache.
