I bought a copy of Windows 10 Home and Pro from Walmarts website from an independent seller. Home worked and Pro didnt, which is really what I wanted. The package had all these printed out sheets about we are an independent business, so please dont do a return. Then it says that they wont take it back if the sticker is removed, which I had to do to make sure it worked.

In my experience, Walmart usually takes almost anything back. I contacted the guy like five days ago and he never go back to me with a new code. I just think that $75 for windows 10 is not what I paid for. Part of me feels sort of bad doing the return, but the guy did sell me a Windows 10 Pro code that didnt work.

I mean it sounds like you made a purchase expecting a certain product and did not receive it. That's a pretty clear cut case to return something. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they put that disclaimer up knowing they are giving you junk to see how many people are shamed into not returning the defective product.

Ignore the sheets, they are scamming folks by selling the codes and trying to guilt folks like you into not doing anything

Also when you return it, i would show them the shit telling you not to return and how they put the sticker over the code that (they knew) didnt work

Hopefully you get them removed from the marketplace so they stop scamming other people
