Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake is still in the doghouse as far as conservative commentator Meghan McCain is concerned, after everything Lake said to attack her father and her family. Earlier this week she took to X to make it clear there would be "no peace" between the two of them and that "she can't become a Senator without us."

In a response post on Wednesday, Lake, a hard Trump loyalist, tried again, groveling for forgiveness and begging McCain to find common ground with her.

"As mothers, (both with two kiddos) Im know we both agree that our childrens future is too important to let it slip away over past grudges or hurt feelings," wrote Lake. "Thats why Im working hard to unite Republicans, Independents, Democrats ALL Americans. We are facing huge challenges and its going to take all hands on deck to pull things back from the brink."

Imagine being in politics in Arizona and making an enemy of the beloved McCain family.

I hate this stupid woman so much. An embarrassment to Arizona.

Can't wait for Gallego to absolutely push her shit in come election time.

That's the thing though, the GOP losing Arizona is a huge deal. It was a Republican stronghold for eons, and all he's done is turn it more and more blue.

Yeah, I did say it did have big consequences, my main point was that losing AZ was the only consequence he (and I guess the GOP) suffered, however the poster I was responding to made it sound like the Republican party would overwhelmingly reject someone who treated McCain poorly, and as shown, only Arizonans actually gave a shit.

Even Lindsay Graham, notorious BFF of John McCain for decades, dropped him and suckled Trump's balls dry the moment McCain was in the ground.

Which is why the GOP legislature has made it so they can just award the electors to whoever they want. Now it won't be a problem.

Isn't McCain a conservative? If those are her beliefs then she's letting a personal feud get in the way of voting for the "lesser evil" in this race.

Which is fine since Lake shouldn't ever be be elected to any office, but people would be calling thjs behavior petty at best if it was happening outside of the GOP.

Also, McCain wasn't like some bastion of a moral human being himself. He did have good quality moments compared to most of his Republican colleagues that can't be taken from him, and he did tell a Republican voter that Obama wasn't actually a Muslim terrorist, however he's also the dude who sang a song going "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" and clearly would have added onto the GWB body count in the Middle East had he become POTUS with a new war in Iran.

He was a monster in his own right, just also one of the more objectively better Republicans, which says more about Republicans when you think about it.

Mostly shes just a drama queen.
