My first time playing a lot of these games as I only played SamSho 2 in the past. Those early games were really tough, but I felt they got easier as the series went on. This collection is the first official release of Samurai Shodown V Perfect which was finished, but unreleased back in the day. It's got a ton of content in its gallery covering not just the games in this collection, but everything any SamSho character has ever appeared in even the Capcom games. Everything from artwork and music to dev notes and interview videos. For something that was somewhat of a blind spot in my video game history it was nice to catch up on a lot of that content.

The platinum isn't anything too difficult just finishing all the games in the collection and beating it was certain characters in each game. Then finishing at least one game on the hardest difficulty although SamSho 5 has some characters that can cheese that pretty easily. Other than that it's finishing off matches with the special finishers they added in 4 and 5 like No Contest, Overkill and Honorable Death

I guess if I want to continue this Samurai Shodown VI is available as a separate purchase as a PS2 Classic, then the 2019 Samurai Shodown after that. We'll see!
