I got hurt at work like a decade ago and was out on disability for like three months. Aside from the pain, of course, I had a BLAST not being at work. So many people were like oh youre gonna be so bored, you wont wait to come back. There was not one single second while I was out where I was like gee, Id rather be at work dealing with obnoxious customers, douchebag managers, hauling groceries around all day and hurting myself than chilling, doing whatever the fuck I wanted, watching movies, playing games, hanging with friends, etc. Too bad I cant actually live that way these days lol. My ultimate goal would be to just not have to work.
