Yes, peoples social skills and situational awareness seem to be decreasing, but thats down to individuals to address. If people avoid social interaction then its not surprising that they dont pick up those skills.

Thats not really the dating game changing though, so much as people lacking in social skills in greater numbers.

Yeah, I know you're smart from your posting history so I'm sure you were aware of that, while also knowing that people's singular experiences are the one constant they have the ability to fix & have control over. There's too many people that just aren't understanding how to interact with others, but they need to because people can't be walking around saying "I don't know how to approach or speak to women or other people."

That's fucking disastrous that there's more than even a handful of people repeatedly saying that, yet it feels like topics like this are having the discussion every damn day telling people how to fix things but it's just not making it's way to people who need it. I'm just at a loss these days that people have become this socially inept, it's civilization ruining eventually.

Like, do the people who write this shit never talk to anyone out in public unless they have to? I've gotten fairly reclusive, but I'll still chit-chat when the mood strikes me.

Number 1 rule: Read the room. As far as I know coffee shops are fine for meeting people, but it's good to look for clues to appropriateness... we all know this stuff lol.

...Or just get a job at one, and have them approach you!
