Malenia DOWN

took me 14 tries to figure out how to dodge her bigass scarlet rot flower move.

Black Knife Tiche was very helpful, but i did do a bunch of chunking with mah Giant-crusher.

Also made it to Farum Azula, and am a good ways into that dungeon.

Fire Giant was a fucking breeze after Malenia.

i tried using mimic tear for the first couple tries, but he just kept standing there doing nothing. or getting knocked out of his spells.

I used Strength build Great Sword with Lion's Claw and Mimic Tear and we just stunlocked Melenia.

Literally front flip slash pancaked her multiple times. Beat her on like my 3rd or 4th attempt.

Tiche with the health reduction/dot thing and me pancaking with the bigass hammer did the job.

i should probably take waves of darkness off the thing tho

Congrats, there is only two other bosses that I think are somewhat close to her difficulty so you should be well on your way to beating it.

i think i only have Farum Azula, Ashen Leyndell, and Subterranean Shunning Grounds left.

i've never tried madness.

i'm more of a sorcery guy.

if i'm going incans i'm doing dragon stuff

My favorite Mimic Tear moment was on my first run where I dual wielded scythes and abused jump attacks with the Claw Talisman. Having that on seemed to make the Mimic also spam jump attacks and at one point we chained jump attacks back to back against Malenia, staggering her for like 3/4 of her health. Never been that in sync with the Mimic again but it was great.

in the Haligtree? yeah. summoned my mimic tear for them. two of us going bonk on them was not that bad

Farum Azula down, including secret boss.

now it's just the shunning grounds and the ashen capital.

i've read that the path to the three fingers involves some very spicy platforming so i'm probably gonna ignore that.

I did it! I beat the game!

pre-ordered it, played a bunch at launch, then very slowly weaseled my way through the game, with a major powerlevelling period at one point. took like a year off after that because i hated it from the grinding.
