Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the upcoming DLC for From Software's epic RPG, will reportedly feature a map equal to the size of Limgrave, if not larger. Speaking to IGN, Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki compared it to the first major area you can explore in the base game, which includes both Stormhill and the entire Stormveil Castle. "It's hard to answer without giving away too much and to a high degree of accuracy, but if you think in terms of scale or size, it's probably comparable, if not larger, than the area of Limgrave from the base game," Miyazaki said. It's clear that the exact scope won't be fully revealed until we're actually exploring the new area.
