Just picked this up. Died four times to the start of the tutorial because I was trying to optimise it, before winning my first run (still on the tutorial seed) by taking the joker which increased the multiplier every time I didn't play a face card, and then deleting every face card I had.

I usually make it a rule not to buy games when they first come out, but this has the potential to be a game I might play a lot of. Or almost none of. --- Only the exceptions can be exceptional. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah I think it gets stale around 25-30 hours just because the high stakes runs are too luck based. But that's still a good amount of time to spend on a game that was $15 and I had fun.

Very cool, I'm glad to hear it sounds like he's going to try to fix the difficulty of higher stakes.
I'd love to see more wacky cards in the style of the legendary jokers that actually change how you play a run instead of "multi +5" type cards. Just need more broken stuff in the game! --- skull ... Copied to Clipboard!
