if you're not familiar with it, it was a series that ran on The CW about the survivors of a nuclear apocalypse living on a space station that orbited the earth.

about 90 something years after the nuclear apocalypse, due to dwindling resources, 100 teens/young people who have broken some law, are sent to earth to see if it's viable for the rest of humanity to come back and live on earth. and since they broke the law, which can be a death sentence, then it is what it is.

anyway, they get to earth, find they can live on it, and the series goes from there (this is all within the first two or three episodes, iirc).

it being a CW show, you think it's going to mainly focus on teen relationships and mostly superficial issues, despite the setting, but it gets a lot deeper than that, with them really going all out with their fiction, and some real, meaningful sacrifices are made.

it was a really good show until the last couple of seasons, and I get angry with how it ended (even more so than with GoT's).

the last two seasons were so bad. 6 not quite as much, but 7 was so closely connected to 6 that it retroactively made it so much worse

Clark, and the rest of the crew, deserved better

Lots of shows the last 15 years it seems have a great set up, but it seems they never had anything planned past a season or two.

I finished and enjoyed the show, but gosh I disliked the main cast outside of a select few (Monty for example)

for The 100, it wasn't always at consistent quality, but it was good for most of its run (like 5 out of 7 seasons).

and the thing about it, was that its stakes were always raised, which I appreciated.

I watched maybe half of season 1 and thought it was complete trash

when did it get good?

it's been a while since I've seen it, and I actually ended up skipping a bunch of season one due to my preconceptions about it being on the CW, but I remember digging it from later episodes and from season two.

I think I stopped after 4 seasons, not because I didn't like it but I think that's all there was at that point. The attractive women were like half the reason I watched it in the beginning lol.
