Yeah...that's not how it works though when there are hundreds of chains lol. I think it should have been obvious to everyone that the 3 biggest chains were going to start it first, but I don't get what you're trying to say only referencing them. The majority of the other chains didn't do it for years hence multiple people here saying so ITT, unless you think there was some kind of secret agreement back in the day that every pizza maker in the country would start charging? I don't understand why you're getting in your feelings over this by starting to add insults lol

A couple bucks is fine. But when I can get almost a whole damn pizza is where I draw the line

It's mileage, not millage. And delivery drivers don't get mileage pay.

We most certainly do.

Then it's location/brand dependent, because I never did at the 3 places I've delivered for.

I worked for Pizza Hut wayyyyyyy back in 2002 in New Mexico. They paid mileage. Worked for Dominoes in 2004 in same town. They payed mileage. Work for Pizza Hut now in Texas. They pay mileage. I don't know what to tell you then.

I worked for Dominoes in 2015 and they didn't. Other places I worked were local. Like I said, it must be location dependent. Probably a franchise thing for the big chains.

And to be clear, are/were these places paying you an actual rate per mile, or is it x amount per delivery? The former is mileage pay. The latter is not.
