I'm thinking about selling my old Pokemon cards. Are they worth anything? I have an Ancient Mew card, a Moltres promo card from Pokemon: The Movie 2000, 4 holographic Dark Arboks, a holographic Dark Alakazam, a holographic Machamp, and a holographic Hitmonchan. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Ehh. Either hold on to them even taking them to the grave or just which ever young family member kisses up to you the most.
Yeah, like I'd give up my Ancient Mew card. --- Amalgam Universe resident Born in 82. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Generally, promo cards are nearly worthless because of how many were distributed. Ancient Mew is one of the more valuable ones if you get it graded, but we're talking closer to $50 than $500.

If you have 1st editions or particularly rare cards in good condition, you can make some money. But they vary wildly in value, especially depending on their grade.

Ungraded Ancient Mew in great condition is worth about $20 if you're lucky. $30-40 if it's sealed. Grading is very expensive and time consuming.
See here: https://www.psacard.com/services/tradingcardgrading Even the cards you think are mint aren't going to be PSA 10. Selling them is a hassle. I've got some valuable stuff (like a couple of Umbeon Gold Star Pop 5, Tropical Beach complete sets, staff cards, etc.), but I'll never get around to doing anything with them. --- 'Vinyl is the poor man's art collection'. ...
