That's likely including things like ads and whatnot, since even if you block them, you're likely still technically "downloading" that data.

I'm on chrome on my desktop and it's using 353mb of RAM just to leave this tab open. The youtube video I'm watching is using 342mb lol.

Everything eats data now, since there's video ads and shit. I used a data plan for my phone and would eat through data listening to podcasts on Amazon Prime. I finally just upgraded to unlimited, even though it's like $40 more a month.

So? I did that test on my phone too lol. Look I understand the issue, I really do, but blaming GameFAQs would hardly be fair here. As you can see my test proved otherwise. Something's been wrong on your end TC; for example: are you really sure about this...
