I replay the OG trilogy often and TF is definitely on another level than them

No doubt. Im on world 4 now. Was going to make my own topic about it today!

Its hard as hell. Especially the secret levels. And bosses are far harder than what you might be used to from Mario or the SNES Donkey Kong Country games. This game is also super creative and quirky in a way that reminds me of Rayman Origins.

Some of those bosses really did piss me off but I also didn't want to just load up on power ups. Seemed to defeat the purpose of it at the time just for stages.

I think the point precision timing was getting me at times. Or I'd duck and my hand would slightly move and I am standing up into the end of a slight hit and I thought I was still ducking.

It's one of the hardest platformer period, at least 100%ing it.

Was this ever in doubt?

Secret level in the second world was awful. Every single platform it felt like would fall into the abyss when you stepped on it.

Amazing game for sure though.

Marvel. At least it came to the Switch. They added Funky Kong as an easy mode iirc. I still have my save on the damn Wii U. Was the first physical game I bought for it haha

I don't even remember the difficulty in Returns, since TF came out I never bothered to replay that game lol
