It's 2.20 more than you had. Whether it's good or not is a matter of several factors.

depends how much you're making. I'd be pretty happy with a $2 raise at the jobs I've had.

I mean it depends on how much you're making. I make 33/hr. 2 and change wouldn't be insulting, but it's not huge.

If I was making 14 flipping burgers it'd be pretty cool.

Depends in large part what your current wage is.

Its only really like an extra 65 bucks per 40 hours after taxes, so not really in perspective. I'd see it being more significant if you made like $10-$12 an hour and got the bump up, but not if you make decent money.

I wouldn't oppose the raise, but nah it's not much.

$31/hr before raise

That's a ~7% raise. Pretty nice, actually.

Multiply by 2080, because that's what $1/hr basically translates too if you're working a 40hr week for 52 weeks with PTO and whatnot. That kinda assumes a lot obviously, but that could essentially come out to an extra ~$4500 annually before taxes. Maybe $3500 after.

So, yeah. That's not bad for a rough estimate.

Forgot to clarify it was $31/hr before the raise
