A watch you have to recharge just was too annoying for me. I don't really have much to compare it to besides my previous Samsung Smartwatch, and even then its kind of negligible the difference from my Galaxy Watch Active. Though tbh I think I'm not really the kind of person to get that much out of a smartwatch to begin with. The battery barely lasts like 2 days, which is common for smartwatches, but is also a problem because I will repeatedly pick it up, having forgotten to charge it so it won't make it through the day. It's pretty comprehensive as smartwatches go and as for the W5 Pro itself, it's basically the Samsung equivalent of the Apple Watch Ultra (though the W5 Pro came out first). It's made of titanium and has a more rugged design. You can use a Galaxy Watch with any Android phone but there are specific features that you'll miss out on (EKG monitoring, irregular heart rhythm notification, sleep apnea, etc) if you don't pair it to a Galaxy phone. I used to never wear watches until I got a Galaxy Watch. Now I feel naked if I don't have my watch. I love being able to check notifications without actually pulling out my phone.
