Good news, it's not Morbius bad nor a 16% bad...but bad news is it's far cry from a good movie in general. I'll personally give it a 4.5/10.

Other than a lot of stupid things that happen in the movie, script problems, amateurish camera work, and bad/forgettable dialogue the main reason this movie is bad is simply because of one problem: Dakota Johnson...she was miscast hard. I'm sorry but not only does she do that stupid same face in almost all of the movie, but she has absolutely no range when it comes to her delivery. The entire time I was watching the movie, the only thing I was thinking about when she was on screen was "which actress would've done a better job playing as Madame Web." The villain has the opposite problem, it's obvious he's trying to give it his all but the way his character is written he can't do anything with it.

With that said, some of the action scenes look fairly decent and the actresses they got for the other 3 girls in the movie had excellent chemistry with one another. The movie became ten times better anytime Dakota Johnson wasn't on screen, imo.

This movie is about tied to Quantumania because that's another movie that also feels like the actors were half assing their roles as well, but at least Madame Web cost less than that garbage.

I liked the part where she said, "It's webbin' time!"

In terms of acting, she was one of the better ones.

No she doesn't go topless or shows her boobs. She plays as a goody two shoes in this movie, but at one point she dances on the table with the two other girls at a diner.

im gonna be honest, I never have had the inclination or desire to see that movie.

but Web was justugh. If I had paid for the ticket, I wouldve asked for my money back. Its that bad. Plot devices werent explored, or even thought about..like for example, they never explain where Ezekiels knock off spider-man costume comes from, or why hes got it. Its justthere.

two characters that are absolutely integral to Spidey mythology are in the movie but theyre literally only there to tick a box. You couldve called them literally anything else and it would not have changed a single fucking thing whatsoever.
