Even then some of the older stuff could and should count as Woke crap, but isn't.

Black Panther being introduced by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and part of said character's introduction is him (A non-powered guy) easily outclassing the entire Fantastic Four.

Keep in mind this is back when the group was THE superhero team of Marvel whereas the X-Men and Avengers were additional groups. So having the newly introduced black hero owning them would easily be treated as such if done today.

Or Silver Surfer #5 which had the character making a friend named Al Harper who is black. I bring it up cause when asked why he is willing to befriend the Surfer, Al responds that he know what it's like to be pushed around.

And the comic even prompt a letter of complaint from a reader who even if the response wasn't a verbal tear down, it wasn't exactly a friendly disagreement either:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Marvel/comments/w6vkn1/stan_lees_take_on_minority_representation_is_just/

And it makes the argument I share in that people treat apathy/indifference as being better than bigotry.

As well as Green Lantern/Green Arrow #76 which started the storyline where the two would go around the country to deal with social problems.

Not only heavy handed, but here is a quote from a black citizen in the issue:
I been readin about you, he tells GL. How you work for the blue skins and how on a planet someplace you helped out the orange skins and you done considerable for the purple skins! Only theres skins you never bothered with the black skins! I want to know how come?! Answer me that, Mr. Green Lantern!

Basically the comic is willing to suggest that our lead hero, a founder of the Justice League is guilty of apathy.

But again people conceding that political heavy fair existed then will try to insist it's subtle, doesn't tell readers how to think (i.e. not painting bigots or those supporting them in an unflattering light).

Politics could suck in something like Tetris, imagine moving the shapes for points, but suddenly you need to negotiate a deal with shapes that dont want to fit together anymore, then go back to placing shapes.

Or sports games you have to negotiate a new trade deal between two countries before they will let your soccer team play in their country. If you dont get it correct your team is taken hostage and you have to negotiate their release. Then miss out on the season as you must replace the traumatized or dead players.

That might get me to actually consider playing a sports game.

I think in some video games, they make "appealing to today's standards" take precedence over historical accuracies.

Hogwarts Legacy is a great example of this. At one time in the game on a side quest, you meet a woman that tells you she is married to another woman. But the game is based in the very late 19th century, there were no same sex marriages back then, not in Scotland anyway. If there were anybody back then that was able to marry someone of their own gender, they wouldent have been open about it, they wouldent have gone around telling any old Tom Dick or Harry about it.

Probably, but in a setting where magic is a thing, that ship kind of sailed.

I don't know. Even outside of the topic, it's like people preferring (or claiming) Batman to super powered heroes for realism, but will eat up stories which has him overly capable of feats that make more sense with a powered character.

Alternatively like I said earlier, it's just like when people will claim that quality should come before diversity pandering, but then suspending criticism when their wants are pandered to (Crude humor, sexy looking characters or just top-notch special effects).

Not really, as if anything, the Wizarding World seems even more backwards and bigoted than the muggle one at any given time. The whole plot of the books is built on that.

Thats a tv series not a video game

There's definitely been some in the tv series Vikings. For example they made the monarch of Kattegat be a black female. But according to actual history, that monarch of the same name was a white male. Then there was that time Floki had a blood lust towards Christians and he delighted in their deaths, but when they went to Spain, which during the viking age was colonised by Muslims, he admired them so much that he forbidded further killings of them. On IMDB message boards this got quite a bit of uproar.

Breaking Bad is basically a story about toxic masculinity, with Walt being so desperate to "prove" his manhood that he actively and unnecessarily destroys his life. Like, the whole plot literally doesn't happen if Walt was just willing to accept help from other people. But instead, he's insistent on not only making sure he's self-made, but also making sure his family knows he's the reason they're staying afloat.
