There weren't just 2 Unknown Soldiers (from WWII and the Korean War, the Vietnam one had been identified), they were each chosen at random from several and they didn't give the honor to the rest. I don't know why this is blowing my mind so much.

The point of the tomb of the unknown soldier is to give honor to every soldier whose name is lost or forgotten, though.
