The only good thing to come out of that interview was Putin insulting and humiliating Tucker. It's like when the sniveling traitor from the good guy side joins the bad guys, and even the bad guy leader is so disgusted that they kick the traitor in the face in contempt.

ok so I sat down and watched it. insanely boring overall, putin talks about 800ad-1700s history for 30 min.
lots of weird manipulation tactics on putins end, not surprising. "yeah...sure, russia did this...but the USA has done that" type stuff. very obvious tactic to get people on the american right to sympathize with him. basically said he doesn't give a shit who is US president and blames the cia on everything something about AI and Elon Musk, genetic engineering, etc. Tucker did ask about an american journalist imprisoned in russia, and did push him a bit on it. that's the only good thing on Tucker's end. putin replied to that by saying "sorry, no more mr nice guy" as if he has ever been nice putin basically called tucker a loser for not getting into the cia, kinda funny. huge waste of time, i regret watching it. i should have kept playing persona. --- ? ... The history lesson was interesting, with a grain of salt. The dude is ridiculously well studied in geopolitics and it's terrifying how easy he maneuvers it to align with his agenda.
Wasting 30+ minutes on early AD history only to interrupt himself to insult Tucker constantly was hilarious. The modern stuff was whataboutisms; he claims that alphabet companies and "higher than elected" officials are the Real Bad Guys and Russia has been trying to play nice, join NATO and be heroes since Clinton, absolutely bonkers revisionist shit but there you go. Putin told Tucker he voluntarily withdrew troops from Kiev because Germany and France asked him to when it's widely reported that his blitz to the capital failed miserably and he was pushed back. That's a big revelation. Tucker didn't even bother to ask or challenge him about that lol.
