Weird question but Im sure CE knows the answer. I like caffeine because the benefits are obvious when I drink it. I usually only drink it around 6 times per month when I really need it. I would like to drink it every day but Im afraid that the effectiveness will slowly wear off to the point where I need to drink more to maintain. You know, like any other drug pretty much.

Is there a way to have caffeine everyday with the strong effect without it weakening over time? I dont want the future to be where I need my usual caffeine just to be functional or have even more than what I had to start with just to get the desired effect.

Im not addicted. What are you talking about? Did you even read my post? I literally said I drink it like 6 times per month when I feel that I need it. I work overnights and sometimes I dont get good sleep. I can go many days without having caffeine and it isnt like Im itching for it. Thats like saying someone who drinks a little bit a few times a month is addicted to alcohol.

Not all addiction is visual. If you drink it enough your body begins to expect those chemicals as part of its normal processing. If you only drink it 6 times a month then that shouldn't be an issue at all but if you are drinking it every day you will need to consume more each day over time to feel the same impact as you initially did.

So there is no way to do it. That is what I needed to know. I do not drink it everyday and I was considering it. If I have to drink more every day just to match the benefit then I wont do it. Its weird that you are acting like its a hard drug though when green tea is considered very healthy.

Caffeine, Sugar, some (but not all) drugs act pretty much the same way making your body addicted to their chemicals. Drugs just attack the pleasure centers of your brain so the chemical addiction is much higher and are potentially much more harmful.

So drinking Green Tea is bad for you? In that it? I looked this up after bringing it up and I cant find anything that says its bad to drink it everyday. I was considering coffee at first but if its safe to drink green tea then Ill just do that. However, it seems that you think Green Tea can be harmful like anything else.

Youre doing good already from what it sounds like

try keeping the strength consistent then once in awhile put an extra scoop

or abstain for a day, get a LOT of fresh air then try a cup of joe the next morning

I fell into that trap, and would get extreme headaches if I didn't get caffeine every morning I would get intense headaches

Now I just have a canned coffee in my work cooler and just drink it IF needed that day
