This is part of the problem with the left. Republicans have no integrity, but they have loyalty and a sense of duty to their party. They can hate a potential GOP candidate, but once he's officially their guy they will make sure to vote for him and give unwavering support. Democrats are a party of pouty crybabies that'll stay home and sob if they don't get the candidate they want. "I wanted Bernie Sanders, but boo hoo, it went to someone I didn't want, so Trump can just have it." This is part of why Democrats are great at losing.

By the way, I say that as a Democrat. I really wish my party could grow a set.

The people you're describing are self-identified Marxists who believe the Democratic party is too center or center-right for their tastes. Biden was never going to win their votes in the first place since they have a stake in seeing the system be dismantled. The more pragmatic leftists will vote blue while still criticizing Democrats if they mess up.
