It used to be YouTube for edgier content now it's tamer than YT. And a pain in the ass to navigate.

It is still there though. Ask how Revver or Blip.tv is doing. I remember trying Odysee I think it was, may have been my computer but the bandwidth was terrible. It was based off open source.

Is Dailymotion really tamer than youtube? I bet you can still find some obscure stuff that wouldn't make it onto YouTube anymore.

It's still there for stuff that'd get taken off of Youtube like pro wrestling stuff.

....I did this very thing obsolete. Got some clips of WWF stuff uploaded to my burner youtube account and when the WWE went to claim the rights. I was all yes sir. I literally just ripped an episode of Smackdown from Daily Motion cut it up a bit and put it on youtube. I couldn't believe it cleared worldwide copyright. I did this twice somehow.

I don't think the WWE even knew/bot sensors until they and I realized it had a sudden unusual amount of views and that was when I cleared it to them 100 percent.

Probably a little below that, in not explicitly sexual but nude.

Youtube has nudity? Surprised me. I don't care about that for men or woman, however. But in the United States The Right to Nudity never took off hehe heh

Lol dailymotion and vimeo days. When you were fine with navigating an extremely crappy video hosting website to see some hbo level nudity.

Then youtube up and allowed nudity for certain situations, some extremely explicit stuff too.

The porn sites regressing since their late 2000's peak has made HBO level nudity more appealing.

Actually all joking about d-tier softcore stuff aside dailymotion was a good place to watch TV shows that would have instantly been taken down on YouTube. I actually watched a bunch of shows admittedly in barely 240p (although one uploader did have as high as 480p for BMW!)

But on a small iPhone screen in the early 2010s, 240p was just fine

I remember watching almost all of the original '80s TMNT on YT back in 2008. We didn't realize how good we had it back then.

My place was coke and popcorn I think and it had a handy Dandy download link too for your media conversion . I had a place to watch burn notice. But I had old now somewhat modern clips of ISAP. And I'd be like that episode sucked.

Heh. Sunny blows at times.

Ah, when the internet was a lawless land, the old west, you could find anything guaranteed. Now it's like Stalin's Russia, with governments and private businesses doing everything in their power to restrict and regulate the internet as much as possible, all the while shoveling more ads in your face than the dreaded pop-up era of the late 90s pre dotcom crash.
