I didn't stick around for the conclusion, but the doctor said that it was inoperable and that he had between minutes to hours to live. No motive was listed in the notes, only what she said before she shot him. (It sounded like something "Mama" would have said in The Water Boy.) It seems to me like she was at fault in the situation. Her mother was the one who called the police on her when it happened.

Some people are just fucking crazy. <_<

Recently there was a case where a woman just stood there and watched her boyfriend shoot dead her son. I dont think it's gone to trial yet

So, there's an update. (Kinda.)

While the medical notes originally stated that the man's mother had shot him, it turns out that he was actually shot by his girlfriend. From what I heard from one of my coworkers, she is now in custody.

The patient received an honor walk today shortly after I arrived at work. I missed the opportunity to attend because I was interviewing a patient.
