Even if it was just a few paragraphs in high school, what's the longest paper you've written?

I wrote a paper for WTRG 111 last year that came out to just over 1000 words. Just a simple paper to introduce sourcing references. Topic was about Language and it's Power.

I owe a 2000 word research paper in a couple weeks, about the Digital Divide(I chose this), which requires 8 sources lol >_> at least everyone and their researching mother has an insane amount of approaches to this topic.

My interest was more focused in the digital divide between Gen Alpha/Z and millenials and how the younger generations having little to no experience with computers (and operating solely with devices that are designed to just work) will impact their future and ability to operate in the (near) future, but I feel like that'd be it's own (generate your own) research endeavor and generate your own data points at this point in time. Where the paper is more about finding existing sources and writing your own research paper about your chosen topic.

I wrote a 20 page paper on German POWs in Russian POW camps during WW2.

It was very interesting.

I guess If I'm going for my Masters, it'll be even longer.

no idea the word count, but my longest paper was just over 20 pages, I think 22 in total. There were a few graphs/charts in the paper which took up a total of 3 pages.

the worst papers I had to write were in my poetry classes in college, they expected us to write 10+ page papers about 15 line poems... like, how?

I never did word count. I churned out a slop of 20 pages for my attempt at a thesis. My longest decent paper was either 12 or 14 pages.

25 pages. Google says an average of 250 words per page double spaced so I'm guessing around 6000 or slightly more. I said 4-6000.

It's been almost twenty years so I can't remember the word count, but def 15k+ for a seminar history course on America in the 1960s, taught by a guy who turned down a scholarship to Harvard to be a dj in the late 60s. Did a double history/English major so I wrote a lotta shit.

He passed away a few years ago and I ended up buying some vinyl from his extensive collection from his widow (Euro pressing KMFDM Naive, first pressing Moby Ambient, MC5 Kick Out the Jams, first pressing Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells, The Kinks Lola vs..., The Rutles, Vanilla Fudge s/t, Steely Dan Aja, etc). Wish I had bought more local stuff.
