For the last 15 years Ive slept with a fan on. Away this weekend and took a travel fan with me. Stopped working about 1am and couldnt get back to sleep. Completely dependent on having one on for white noise / being cold. Anyone else like this?

I have two fans on me right now. I'm not sleeping without my fans on drowning out everything else, and keeping me cool all night.

I need white noise to sleep, but I also have tinnitus.

I have an app on my phone to (poorly) simulate a fan noise in case my power ever goes out.

So my overhead fan is just on medium, circulating air. But recently, I have found that I can have a fan right behind my head without getting bothered by it like I would be in the past. No stuffy nose in the morning. Since then, sleeping has been much better. I've tried having Alexa play thunder storms, but that didn't work for me. Something about apps making the noise just isn't hitting the spot.

For me I need to feel the air on my face! I tried an app last night but didnt work .

I straight up have a back up fan so as to avoid this.

This is what annoyed me last night. The fan I got wasnt cheap and its foldaway. Perfect as I go with work a lot. I think maybe the power cable it comes with doesnt actually power it enough to use on high settings without it draining the battery. Ive got a 90w USB C charger at home so Ill try that.

You know what the worst part of my day is? Having to turn the fan off when I wake up. I never want to leave it.

I don't see how people can sleep in total silence, gotta have a fun running.

Oh, I go full on box fan.
Though I could see a small USB fan being better than nothing.

It's cold as shit where I'm at. But I still have the fan on when I sleep. I do drap some cloth over it this time of year.

....but also, life hack style, a 20x20 air filter works great on the intake of a box fan.

I have a box fan on my head as we speak. So soothing. Unfortunately my bowels are not. I have to keep running to the latrine.

It's winter here in Michigan. Still fanned up. All. Year. Round.

Im exactly the same way, I use 2 fans all year round including winters. My wife thinks Im crazy but I cant sleep without them. If theres a power outage and it wont be back on till morning, I wont be getting any sleep. If the fan goes off for any reason I instantly wake up.
