I never got around to seeing it until now because I heard it was terrible

Maybe because my expectations were low but it was alright. Had its moments. Not as good as the first but it's alright.

I hear the prequel is good

The Trix parts are the best.

I honestly never heard that Ted 2 was bad. It's not great, it's ultimately just... More of what you expect, but if you liked the original Ted, there's really no reason to dislike Ted 2.

Yeah, I would say it's about loosely put together as the first, but it's just more of the same. The comic-con fight was great.

I liked Ted 2 more than Ted 1 but both are good. I like the chick in Ted 2 more.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Decent for what you'd expect. However I'm hesitant to watch the prequel series. It's just gonna be family guy with a teenager and a sentient stuffed bear.

I actually like the show more than the movies. Goofy fun and I like the 90s setting.

To be fair, the prequel was actually sorta already built up, since the movies already stated Wahlberg's character has known Ted for most of his life. They didn't just force it out of nowhere, atleast.

Oh I know. 2 was just more of the same from 1 just a bit less funny. That's what I'm worried about with the prequel.

Lol I was watching this movie the past week too! I... had the opposite reaction you did. It's beyond terrible. Most of family guy humor is mean-spirited so that's nothing new, but this just wasn't funny either in addition to being mean-spirited.

I feel like people usually like both or neither. Basically, they either like family guy or they don't. No real wrong answers.

I liked the first movie but greatly disliked the second one. The second movie only got some laughs out of me while the first one was fairly consistent with getting me to laugh. Maybe on rewatch it might change, but I doubt it.

I'd say I'm middle down the line. I like any and all parodies family guy does. They're great at making fun of other media or cliches. But you don't really watch them for any semblance of a cohesive narrative.

It's why the short 1-2 minute youtube clips make me laugh but not so much the whole thing. It's less than the sum of its parts

Do we primarily follow a teenager in it? I just can't stand shows centered on teenagers or else I'd check it out.
