It is currently the 19th most played game on Xbox. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/most-played/games/xbox The only games beating it are super mainstream ones. I know its on Gamepass, but the game also has a significant userbase on Steam and PlayStation since that is traditionally were people go for JRPGs. She doesn't really seem to have agency or control like your typical god. On the other hand, Nyx just seems to be more like a force of nature that feeds on humanity's desire for death. She can't just meet humanity at her own desire, she is only able to attempt to reach humanity because she is guided to humanity by Tarturus. Also consider how humans created the Dark Hour by fucking around with shadows in a science experiment. She used that form to give Namatame, Adachi, and the Main Character free access to the TV World and Persona powers without having to naturally awakening them.
