The second was in college and it was mutual, but I was in no place emotionally/mentally to pursue it. We lost touch after we graduated college and each moved back to our hometowns. The third was kind of a weird semi-mutual thing. She was into me and said as much, but she already had a boyfriend of 2 years and she wasn't the type to cheat (and I'm not a homewrecker). They did eventually split up, but by that time it had become more of a brother-sister dynamic. I call her mother "Mama" and I've literally been to two of their family reunions. She got married a couple years ago and they're expecting their second child later this year. We're still very close friends to this day and I see them every week at bowling. I do think I'm in a much better place mentally now. Still struggling with depression (and probably always will), but my anxiety is more under control and I think if I ever meet someone else I'll be ready to go for it.
