Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) said the three men charged were paid by Russian military intelligence (GRU).

It added that they had used a "tense political situation" to harm Ukraine's reputation abroad.

We literally had a president of the United States colliding with Russian intelligence to engage in a plot to extort the Ukranian president to force him to investigate the US president's political opponent in an attempt to alter the course of an election, and it's kinda crazy how few people faced consequences for that.
