FortuneCookie 11/12/23 2:07:52 PM #1:	He obviously won't be Kid Link -- unless they pull an Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and have him be a kid for the first 13 minutes of the film. Will they cast a blond-haired white guy to play him? Or will he be multicultural so that he can have almond eyes? Or will they have an actor of Japanese descent wearing a blond wig? Keep in mind, he is an elf. They don't exactly have a defined ethnicity. Link's blond hair is his signature look, but Legend of Zelda is a Japanese property and I feel that Hollywood would be a little reluctant to cast a white guy in the role. They had Chris Pratt as Mario, but that was animated. It doesn't really matter to me -- so much as I can still y'know to the twenty-something Hero of Time. (Hey, at least I'm consistent across gender lines.) I'm just curious which route they'll take. I hope they don't go for some kind of Kevin Costner -- "This ain't no prissy hero in green tights" -- look where Link wears various shades of brown or black. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/3/35f65670.jpg I don't know what would be worse: that, or an emo Cloud Strife variant of Link.
