I already did some research beforehand so I sort of know what to expect, but a little extra tips wouldn't hurt. 1) Only use in the evening 2) My skin may experience irritation or peeling 3) Use a moisturiser after applying the serum 4) Use sunscreen before leaving the house 5) It'll take weeks or months to see the effect Anything else I should know? --- "Average Joe" is a trolling term since it's completely an opinion. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramide are some of the common ingredients you'll see in skincare ingredients and they are proven to work. Retinoids in general work pretty well for a variety of skin conditions like acne or photoaging. Doctors will hand out tretinoin prescriptions without much issue and it's relatively inexpensive even if your insurance won't cover it. --- I don't believe in belts. It's easiest to do that with nothing in the way. I'd use it before the toner tbh --- I don't believe in belts.
