50 grand is after taxes

If you choose the tech, you will be sent a magazine in the mail. This magazine will be a "digital" magazine, with it's paper acting as a sort of touch screen smart paper. You can use the paper to scroll through items that you are interested in on even click on them (like you would a smartphone screen) to learn more about each product. Each page of this paper is as powerful than your current cellphone. The magazine makes it clear that you can buy items from now to up until 50 years in the future. Anything like computers or consoles are fully backwards compatible (or come with a means of making them so) and have all necessary drivers and whatever else to work in the modern day. With the magazine come a small trinket, a ring that projects holograms above itself in a way you cannot understand, and is not currently possible.

You can not sell the Future tech that you buy, however you can give away up to one item a month if you so choose too. No one in the modern day can recreate this tech if they take it apart or anything like that.

Prices are in today's currency, and are typical for new technologies coming out today. Nothing will be prohibitively expensive unless it makes sense for it to be today. (Expensive watches, cars, whatnot)

Feel free to ask any questions.

Tech from 50 years in the future and it's not even close.

Why is it that he can hit a 3rd baseman on a frozen rope from 300 feet away, but he can't hit a 12 foot tall catcher from 60 feet 6 inches away?

Again all the future tech is priced competitively in today's pricing.

So a full dive vr game console would cost around the same as a ps5 does today.

Don't see the point in future tech if none of it is stronger than my phone.

I sincerely doubt 50 year future tech is going to be in any way compatible with current archetectures and/or power adapters

Why would we change the whole electric infrastructure in the near future?

You can buy adapters for the few things that might not be the same, like HDMI and whatever else.

Unless you really think we'd change our whole electric infrastructure over night with no adapters or anything?

If this is true then the magazine for sure. It's worth going into debt for the more expensive things. If medicine is considered "tech" then you could probably cure quite a bit of stuff with 50 years of advancement and cheaply. I mean look at the covid vaccines and treatments, shit is basically free currently. Think of other possible cures or treatments.

This is just medicine, but you can probably buy better bikes, tools, 3d printers that can do crazy things. Hell just the curiosity of what 50 years in advance tech is worth more than 50k but to then also purchase it? Pretty OP compared to 50k.

I'd take the tech, even with the belief that a collapse is likely to happen before 50 years and thus thinking it would be more something like tech to up to 5-30 years from now. If the magazine has release dates and such in it, one could use it to determine about when things fall apart too.
