Like Cloud was saying all this stuff that didn't happen to him. But happen to someone else. Since she didn't know that he was there, this is some detail stuff that she should not have known. And like she just lets Cloud go on and on. Barret is like something smell fishy about this. And she is like shut up. All while these lies are going on.

What? No. Cloud gaslit her there. She follows up the whole thing by saying that she didn't really remember the whole events quite so well, and because Cloud was entirely right on everything but where he happened to be standing she just assumed that she might have gotten it wrong.
