And had Beto thrown out of the press conference after the Uvalde mass shooting when he asked why they keep allowing these shootings, and why children keep getting shot.

The amendments language is dangerously vague and unconstrained, and can be weaponized to attack parental rights or defend rapists, pedophiles, and human traffickers.

I dont know anything about whats going on. I need to look into it. However, when I read shit like this, I guarantee its compete bullshit that the Republican Party is trying to spin to provoke outrage. In fact, I can make a pretty save bet that there is probably no real issue with it.

Of course not. Issues can't even make it onto a ballot without substantial review first. There's no way for a constitutional amendment to make it through the ballot process, get voted on, and only then does a single GOP politician notice that it's "vague".

The Federal government has no jurisdiction over what is an internal state matter.

And the GOP really doesn't have any right to pull what they are doing here. Once one side decides that rules no longer apply it is foolish for the other side to continue to abide by them.

We are right on every issue; the Democrats are wrong on every issue, Good proclaimed. Thats why they frantically cling to abortion as the only issue that they think may work for them, and in some cases it has demonstrated that it does.

Article I, Section 22. The Right to Reproductive Freedom with Protections for Health and Safety

A. Every individual has a right to make and carry out ones own reproductive decisions, including but not limited to decisions on:

1. contraception;

2. fertility treatment;

3. continuing ones own pregnancy;

4. miscarriage care; and

5. abortion.

B. The State shall not, directly or indirectly, burden, penalize, prohibit, interfere with, or discriminate against either:

1. An individual's voluntary exercise of this right or

2. A person or entity that assists an individual exercising this right,

unless the State demonstrates that it is using the least restrictive means to advance the individual's health in accordance with widely accepted and evidence-based standards of care.

However, abortion may be prohibited after fetal viability. But in no case may such an abortion be prohibited if in the professional judgment of the pregnant patients treating physician it is necessary to protect the pregnant patients life or health.

C. As used in this Section:

1. Fetal viability means the point in a pregnancy when, in the professional judgment of the pregnant patient's treating physician, the fetus has a significant likelihood of survival outside the uterus with reasonable measures. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.

2. State includes any governmental entity and any political subdivision.

D. This Section is self-executing.
