FortuneCookie 11/10/23 1:27:24 PM #1:	I just found out that Prime was meant to be third-person, but he fought the studio on making it first-person. That suit is badass. I have no idea why Nintendo hates it. Is it because they stole it from some anime and are ashamed of their theft? When Samus wears it, she's in first-person. When Samus is in third-person, they put her in the zero suit. Man, that's frustrating. GoldenEye worked because Bond was just a guy in a tuxedo. It's the personality, not the outfit, that makes the character entertaining. And since that doesn't transfer into a 90s game anyway, you lose nothing in the game going first-person. But with a character like Samus, Batman, Godzilla, etc., anyone who has a unique look that is recognizable in silhouette, I'd never want to play a first-person game starring them. They should always be front and center where the player can see them. I missed out because Miyamoto wanted the first-person look. The first person person perspective gave it character and immersion a third person game just couldn't. But hey if you want to rob yourself of playing one of the best games of all time, go for it. If there was an amazing character design and then you only ever play as them in first-person I could understand the gripe.
