I don't care too much about spoilers for OP. They're what got me into the series in the first place and also help me maintain interest after taking a lengthy hiatus from the series.

Ok so Kuma raised Bonney after her mom was kicked out of Marejios for catching a disease.
Ginny the mom dies before Kuma can even warp to her.
Bonney later develops the disease.
Sunlight turns her body into a bunch of sapphire scales.
This is why she is named Jewelry Bonney cause Kuma told her they were her jewels.

Also this makes Bonney only 12 years old.

She uses her fruit to look 22 with her skimpy outfit.

Bonney is then of celestial dragon descent and her mom basically raped.

It's always surprising when OP chooses to get dark and heavy.

So likely Kuma take her dsieaae on himself and cyborg is to buy time.
Or he trade himself to the government to be able to have vegapunk cure Bonney.
