if you have yakuza fatigue, it is.
If you can't get enough of the games, well then its more of the same, what more can you ask for? lol

Always space out Yakuza games. It's the first thing the fanbase teaches besides start at Yakuza 0. Especially 5 >_> I need like 3 months before and after that game cuz of how meaty it is.

It's not out till Thursday at midnight. I've been thinking about it though. Almost time! I'm stoked. I got Yakuza 7/Like a Dragon day one but I wasn't really around the boards much at the time. Though I am positive I looked at Cyric's guides for something in the games.

That's the rpg styled one called Infinite Wealth. It's out early next year. This is a side story about Kiryu that takes place before and during the events of Yakuza/Like a Dragon 7

Downloading it now on PS4 for midnight. Pretty dope. I haven't done a midnight release for anything in years. It first said 7-8 hours now it's 3 hours or so. Amazing having actual reasonably fast internet.

Not sure how much I'll actually play it but if I can get the jump off at midnight I can still get a good couple hours in.

Loving it so far. Feels good to play.

Been playing it. Feels super fun to play as Kiryu again as a beat em up. I just started on normal be/c yea I'm good for standard. Start with a large health bar so the trash mobs were a joke, but the actual first boss I mean wasn't real hard but brainless button mashing didn't drain his health heh using the tutorial stuff (plus I had a left over heat counter too).

I think the hardest boss so far was using HDR. It was too dark so I just gave up.

I thought this was going to be a much simpler game to get 100% completion on but they just had to toss in a conpletion list partway through, full of all the gambling stuff. I sure hope there are cheat items like the peerless tile, I think that was missing from some of the recent games.

Haven't played it yet but it looks like Yakuza 6 and Judgment mixed together. The combat, like Lost Judgment, has completely left reality but it does look fun.

The gambling and board games in these games have actually helped me start to get over having to 100 percent every game.

Finished the game, I liked it a lot. Some of that side content could have been scaled back a bit in terms of difficulty, but everything main story was great.

I'm still in chapter two but I think I am near the end of that. While I did start at midnight, it was well, late and I didn't stay up all night playing it. Just getting the feel for Sotenburi again and there are things to do just strolling around. The coliseum seems like it'll be a lot of fun. I never did too much with it in past games because there was always that next game in the series.

I'm also still on Chapter 2. Mario RPG leaking and, uh, watching a streamer play the game distracted me >_>

Well I meant to play it more Thursday night. But I was still kinda uhh drunk and then got more drunk and really distracted on the internet that night. I've been playing it a good amount since then though I have the football game on now. I am determined to keep playing this game more actually now and just listen to the game and look over occasionally.

I was determined to play it more until that game got silly entertaining near the end of the 2nd qtr and the second half. I actually wasn't going to post in this topic anymore b/c eh it felt a little outdated, but I guess we can all get the sticky icky at work at times. What do ppl think about the immersive cabaret clubs? They really aren't as jarring as I thought they could be (and I have seen this in smaller doses in KIwami 2 I think it was). But they are really short. It's like what drink do you want two questions (these seem to repeat a lot) and then yours time up. I got water once just to see if the hostess would get pissed but she didn't care (I am not paying for champagne yet, that's too much). Obvs I have made an hostess upset with my answer, one I picked I thought was hilarious (it was about sports) and that didn't go over.

Just in Yakuza 5, you could order food, more drinks, stay longer, more questions. It felt like I was getting to know them more (if I spent the time which I think 5 was where I spent the most time with them). But here one is obviously a streamer (and a real life streamer I'm told).She is a lot of fun. Another one like kids.....and I don't got too much else :D One doesn't wear make up. I don't remember if the last two are the same person. The sessions are just over so fast :P

Yea it's weird, you can ask them just two questions and then you have to pay 10k again for more. It would be much more convenient if you could extend your session instead of having to go back out of the minigame and then back in.

I miss ordering food. Hey maybe I want some takoyaki or cheese sticks. The questions can repeat and always have the same responses. The sports question I had to pick. Was I asked this lady if she liked sports and then I said I was good at multiple positions, like ya know baseball.

She didn't find that attractive and I got down hearted though one girl loves when you just say beat thugs in your off time to stay in shape lol

I told one of the hostess (Ayo I think?) that I loved her boobs and got a lot of affection points LOL

I've spent some time with 4 of the 5. Somehow the heart rating raised faster in the castle. For some reason Kyoko doesn't like me. I think she's the one I asked about sports. (She's in soternbori).

I also did get to Chapter 3 (barely). But that dumb football game, got so silly. I had paused my gaming session for awhile.

Grinded out the Tiger Drop in chapter 2 lol. This colosseum stuff is a lot of fun
