Also they originally were not even going to do one this year but then decided to do this and it's mostly just old maps from previous games remastered plus a campaign. You can buy it as DLC for Modern Warfare 2

I really dont think its going to outsell Zelda. Definitely not lifetime (I believe BotW has now outsold every CoD we have numbers for) but even this year I doubt it, its basically crickets for MWIII in terms of social media buzz and so on.

With that said, the NPD (or Circana now) and other group numbers will probably still have it at the top because Nintendo dont provide digital sales data, meaning that with current digital/physical splits TotK would have to outsell other games by two to one to actually take the top spot.

Of course even setting Zelda aside I think FIFAs been bigger than CoD worldwide for a while.

their sales numbers might be weird this year too since the game is now called EA Sports FC. Though FIFA (the organization) didnt manage to get their new version of the series out this year so the lack of competition means the name confusion might not be so bad
