I think often times we are biased towards what we grew up with but I was in high school from 1990-94 and I LOVED SNL during this time period. I honestly think its the best time period since the original cast. Its not showing Mike Meyers in the picture either.

Seriously sketch comedy in my high school years was awesome. Just between SNL and In Living Color ran from 90-94 those two alone were absolute gold.

But thats not even taking into account stuff like Kids in the Hall (89-95) and a short lived but excellent show on MTV called The State 94-95 which had a couple brilliant people that I still see in movies to this day and went on to make stuff like Reno 911.

Sketch comedy was so damn good in my high school years.

It's a solid cast. Not my favorite, but solid.

I don't recognize any of the women, but I do everyone else. Could I get names on them and maybe something they're more known for after SNL?

Julia Sweeney is the dark haired woman. Known mostly for It's Pat, she was in Pulp Fiction for a couple minutes.

The blonde is Melanie Hutsell I believe. Can't tell much about what she did.

The black lady is Ellen Cleghorn. I know she was in Armageddon but can't name anything else.

Okay, then I only recognize Julia Sweeney because of the Pat character.

Where is Siobhan Fallon? Was she not considered part of the main cast?

Well not the cast year 1980 after all the writers, major producers, and cast members left that spring. People hated it but to be fair they actually liked Piscopo and Eddie Murphy and they were the only two cast members to keep their job. Piscopo certainly had his fans, even Sinatra enjoyed his impression of him. But the overall show was definitely down for a bit.

Yeah the early-mid 80s were the dark period of the show, Murphy and Piscopo were the only ones to hang on... the mid 80s were just as rough as they had a lot of single season players (Billy Crystal, Robert Downey Jr,etc). It picked up in the late 80s when Dana Carvey showed up, he was the one who revived the show until Farley, Sandler, Myers, and other made it big again...

All of the dudes went on to do "bigger" things throughout the 90s and early 00s but I didn't recognize the female cast members by face, though two of their names sound very familiar (Julia Sweeney and Ellen Cleghorne), even if I can't really place them.
